Apache
Apache is pinto gelding born in 2010. Apache has become confident and willing and has come a long way since arriving at the Ranch very timid. Apache is also the star of Cornerestone’s logo!
Faye
Buenos Rainbow Fever AKA Faye is a registered Paint Horse, born in 2016. Faye came to the Ranch in April, 2024. Faye is as sweet as she is beautiful and has a big personality.
MoonPie
MoonPie is a registered Haflinger and registered Nash (North American Spotted Horse Registry). MP was born in 2016 and came to the Ranch in 2023. He is as sweet as pie and loves to work.
Blue
Blue is a handsome mule (1/2 horse, 1/2 donkey) born in 2014 (we think). Blue is very smart and eager to please, and often carries the saddle bag of extra equipment and first aid supplies to keep us prepared on the trail!
Boone
Boone is a Welsh Pony/Percheron cross born in 2016. Boone had never been ridden before his time at Cornerstone, but has become an incredibly willing and athletic horse, both under saddle and pulling the sleigh/wagon. He is mainly ridden by Instructor Julia.
Cheech
Cheech is a Shetland Pony born in 1999. Cheech is both dependable and docile, a great ride for junior wranglers and loved by so many kids!
Zen
Zen is a registered Quarter Horse born in 2020. Zen’s coat pattern is a bay roan. Zen is super-sweet and his name is very fitting for his personality, and will surely be great for all types of riders as he gets further into the program.
Dusty
Trusty Dusty is a registered Haflinger born in 1998. His best friend is his Haflinger pal Hercules with whom he can pull a sleigh or wagon. Dusty also does lessons and trail rides. Overall Dusty is a great horse to work with!
Falcon
Falcon is a Dapple Grey Welsh Pony/Percheron cross born in 2013. Falcon is very eager to please and do his job. Falcon drives and rides and loves meeting new people!
Frack
Frack is a Percheron gelding born in 2017. Frack came to Cornerstone from an Amish farm in Ohio, where his brothers Frick and Hank also came from. Frack loves to snack!
Frick
Frick is a Percheron gelding born in 2018. Frick came to Cornerstone from an Amish farm in Ohio, where his brothers Frack and Hank also came from. Frick is a gentle giant who is a joy to both ride and drive.
Rain
Rain is a small Haflinger/Arabian cross born in 2021. Rain is very sweet we look forward to spending a lot of time with him to become a good and trusty steed for lessons and trail rides.
Goldie
“Mr. Golden Sun” AKA Goldie is a POA gelding born in 1998. Goldie’s coloring is dun and he was a foal born into the PMU rescue organization. He came to us with a lot of anxiety and trust issues but has learned to trust; his sweet and goofy personality now shines! He is very speedy and does best with an experienced rider.
Hank
Hank our biggest and youngest Percheron gelding born in 2019. He has a very hard-working personality. Hank is always ready to get his job done; whether its pulling the sleigh/wagon or leading a trail!
Hercules
Hercules is a handsome and stout Haflinger gelding; born in 2003. He came to us from a rescue in PA and is believed to have been used to plow fields for the Amish before coming to the Ranch in 2008. Hercules loves to ride on the trails!
Jasper
Jasper is a Jack Russel mix born March 28th 2018. He is famous for good cuddles. Jasper loves leading trails, going on sleigh/wagon rides, and hanging out by the ring to watch lessons. He is always a part of the action here!
Kidder
“I’m Justa Kid” AKA Kidder was born in 2005. He is a registered Pony of America’s (POA) gelding. Kidder’s coloring is a leopard appaloosa (spots everywhere)! He can be a challenge but teaches his riders patience and how to communicate correctly and effectively.
Lenny
Lenny is a registered American Quarter Horse born at the 5 Arrows Ranch in Texas. He has lived at Cornerstone since September 2020. Lenny is a very smart, strong, and willing horse. He’s at his best when challenged physically and mentally. People often say Lenny’s coloring reminds them of the wild stallion Spirit!
Murphy
“It’s Now Or Never” AKA Murphy is a tall registered Paint born in 2017. Murphy’s coloring is chestnut. He is very handsome and super sweet!
Malarkey
“Kid Me, I’m a Larkey” AKA Malarkey is a POA mare who was born at Cornerstone Ranch in 2008. Malarkey has sass to match her name and is very fun to ride. She loves doing fast roll-aways and balanced stops!
Miller
“Miller Hi Life” AKA Miller is a Miniature Horse born in 1997. Miller is cute as a button and loves getting attention from the kiddos.
Olaf
Olaf is a spotted Appaloosa born in 1997. Olaf loves to give pony rides and go on trail rides, and of course he loves to give warm hugs! His unique spots make him a very handsome horse.
Jazz
Jazz is a registered Halflinger stallion, born in 2023. He will be the father of future foals at Cornerstone… hopefully coming summer 2026! Jazz is very sweet and will surely be a great addition to our riding program one day.
Target
Target is a registered Spotted Draft Horse. He was born in 2004. Target is fun to both ride and drive, and has gorgeous blue swirls in his eyes!
Tommy
Tommy is a pinto Quarter Horse. Tommy was born in 2010. He is very willing and a joy to ride. Tommy was very fearful when arriving to the Ranch but has settled down and is now great for beginner riders. He has become a favorite of many regulars at the Ranch.
Poe
Poe is the Ranch’s only goat. He is an escape artist and can never be held in one place! You can find him anywhere from grazing the lawn, hanging out with Cheech and Miller, or even greeting guests upon arrival!
Tigger
Tigger the cat was born in 2018. Tiggy thinks he’s part dog and horse, and he can be seen running around the farm looking for belly rubs and pats.
Rocky
Rocky is an Appaloosa Mule born in January of 2022. He came to the Ranch not allowing anyone to even touch him. Susan was able to un-halter him in 3 days and has since formed an incredible bond. He even calls to her when he sees her coming!
Goose
Goose is a Mini Australian Shepherd that is full of energy and always wants to help by greeting guests, and keeping all the animals in line… (or at least he tries to!)
Candy
“DH Dandee Twix” AKA Candy is a Percheron / Quarter Horse cross born in 2025. Candy is such a little sweetie and we are excited to watch her grow and get to spend her whole life here at Cornerstone.
Reese
“DH Dandee Reese” AKA Reese is also a Percheron / Quarter Horse cross born in 2024. Reese is another new youngster at Cornerstone. He is incredibly handsome and will surely excel in his training as he grows!
Ace
Ace is a Standardbred born in 2016 that came to Cornerstone with a lot of fear and lacking confidence. With the help of Susan and our dedicated students he has become more and more sure of himself and trusting. It is amazing to see how horses’ personalities can change when they are given correct training and a chance to succeed! We are excited to watch as Ace reaches his potential in our program.
Joey
Joey is a Quarter Horse born in 2009 with a sweet personality and “cowboy” style. He is laid back and loves going out on the trails, and has also become quite the handy lesson horse. His foundation in training has become more solid with our methods and has really shown to enjoy his job.
Captain
Captain is a Belgium / Halflinger / Welsh Pony cross born in 2019. Captain is incredibly sweet and willing! He has quickly become a great part of our riding program and stolen the hearts of many.
